Question:

Anybody know any good arm exercises I can do sitting at my desk?

I don't need to be advised what to eat etc....

I already run 3 miles 4/5 times per week and I rarely exceed 1500 calories per day (unless it's the weekend and the cork goes pop out of the bottle and I'm afraid that wine's gotta be drunk!)

I'm a mesomorph (apple shape) so I tend to carry more weight 'up top' great for a nice rack but not so good when you've shoulders and arms like a swimmer!

What I'd really like to know is, does anyone know any simple exercises I can be doing at my desk?

  1. if you can whatever you want then take a pair of dumbbells with you and just do arm curls and do tricep kickbacks =]


  2. you could do dips for you triceps using your chair...

    you could do biceps by using a water bottle or something else you can hold...


  3. Hi Heidi's mum. I have the same problem with the apple shape. I find this helps. Lift arms up with palms facing press together letting arms fall behind your head. 10 repititions repeated 3 times. Very tiring but it does improve the contour of the upper arms in a very short time.

    i have the best ever arm exercises it works for me all the time you ready for it!

    ok grip left hand round coffee cup and lift to mouth and then extend back down repeat this about 5 times and repeat with other arm you will feel it working straight away but i will warn you it has side effects! constant peeing if drink in cup and you need liquids in there to make weights!!
