pansit

1/2 kg mike noodles

1/2 kg pork

garlic

onion

carrots, beans, cabbage

soup stock

few pcs of sliced pork liver

kikiam, meatballs, pork cracklings

saute garlic and onions

add in the pork slices and pork liver

add the vegetables except for the cabbage

pour in the soup stock, season with pepper, soy sauce, fish sauce and salt according to the preferred color and taste, use the seasoning a Little at a time.

allow the soup to boil and add in the noodles

stir occasionally until the soup is almost gone and the noodles are already tender

blend in the cabbage and mix it evenly with the noodles

remove from heat and top with kikiam, meat balls and pork cracklings, serve with a squeeze of lime.

lumpia

1/2 kg.mixed vegetables of carrots, beans, sprouts, turnips, sweet potato, cabbage, papaya(you can buy it already cut at the market in the philippines)

1/2 kg ground pork

atsuete for color

garlic and onion

saute, garlic and onion in oil

add in the ground pork

mix in the juice from the atsuete seeds

mix in the vegetables

continue mixing until the vegetables are already cooked

season with salt and pepper.

serve as it is with sweet sauce or roll in a wrapper and then fry it, serve with either the sweet sauce or a garlic vinegar dip.

I know lumpia. Pancit ..not so sure. Pangsit..this I know. Indonesia has a very tasty lumpia. You should go to Semarang. But, there are good lumpia too in Surabaya.

I don't know the recipe, coz lumpia are cheap and tasty, so why bother to make one? if u could easily buy one?
