  3. This is a very interesting museum to visit, I've been there once it was pretty interesting.  (I work for a cemetery so that's how I know bout this museum!)  I don't know what you are into but here's the address & the link to the website:

    Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service

    415 Barren Springs Drive

    Houston, TX 77090

Or here is just another link of museums in the houston, Tx area below the first link.  Hope it helps!

I would highly recommend the Center for Contemporary Craft. They always have something interesting showing and they have a great shop.

  5. No, but I do know some interesting museums in NY, California, and Illinois.

  6. All the museums in Houston are interesting.

  7. The Funeral Museum is hands-down one of the most interesting museums ever.  Depending on the exhibit at the time, The Natural Science Museum is good.

  8. We have a few that are free and close by each other, so you can museum crawl.  Houston Center for Photography is great, and there's the Menil, etc.  Go to one of the Museum district links and it will show you locations of all the freebies=) (As well as all the others)
