Anybody know of a fixed wing flight school close to bay city, texas?

I am wanting to get my private license and I am having trouble finding a school close to my house. I live in a small town and our airport only has a few cropdusters......does anybody have any advice?

Go to the site Falcon mentions. There are probably more flight schools in the Houston area than any other city in the US. Stay away from Hobby Airport because of the high aircraft traffic. It will cost more money to learn at Hobby but the experience will be priceless.  Not all flight schools will be listed at these sites but it will give you a start. Also you can look in the Yellow Pages. Do at least take a drive out to Bay City Municipal Airport, you might be surprised at what you find. Go on a weekend when the weather is nice and the wind isn't blowing to much.
