  1. unfortunatly i tried google, google maps, and even my own map of northern ireland. i looked in all the 6 counties and im sorry to say i couldnt find 'derrymacfale'. this might have been a very very small village or a village that has now been destroyed. im sorry about this, but you may find someone who knows of it. dont give up hope and the very best of luck in finding it. i shall continue to help search for you.

  2. Derrylisnahavil is the name of a townland in Co. Armagh

Are you sounding out place name or is that the spelling?  Because i don't think there's anywhere in Ireland with that name.

  3. There is a Derrymacfall in the parish of Drumcree (Portadown, County Armagh).  Check out this site.

  4. I have not heard of it but it may be a townland and not listed on any of the conventional maps. I would try and contact someone at either the Department of the Environment in Northern Ireland in the Archaeology/built heritage section or someone in the Ulster Museum in the Irish History department.  I know they have access to older maps and as they are government bodies they HAVE to answer your e-mail!

    Good luck

  5. nope sorry
