  1. smoke some weed and take fish oil.

  2. My doctor prescribed diclofenac and it seems to work, I have arthritis in both knees.

Its difficult as whatever you do in life affects either your knees or your back as they are both load bearing.

Do you find your back is more stiff in the morning ? my knees are awful.

Try to get some gloucosamine tabs they rebuild cartiledge over time and also take some cod liver oil caps and chondrotin.

The only thing you can do since like me your situation is nonreversable is to manage the pain and stiffness.

I have tried various herbal remedies and none have touched the pain on walking, I had to resort to the doctor for prescribed meds.

I wish there was something I could suggest that would help as I know what its like to be in pain every day.

I quite like shashona's remedy with the gin and raisins lol think I will give that a go, if all else fails it may make me merry enough that I wont care !

    Good luck anyway.

  3. bathe in a tub of warm water with about a 1/4 cup of peanut oil added to it.

  4. For arthritus ive read and have heard from people , take a tupperware bowl full of white rasins and pour gin over to the top-put the lid on[not tight ] let it sit over night the gin will soak in eat 9 every day not eight, or 10 -9 and its sappose to relieve the pain - it will even work for your Dog. try it

  5. Vitamin D and calcium suppliments, exercise, preferable weight bearing.  Stay away from steroids.  Nice warm baths with empsom salts.  Osteo benefits from exercise but be extra careful dt possibility of brittle bones

  6. the best thing is to keep moving! I have scoliosis of the spine and arthritis  so my whole body is out of wack. GENTAL stretching helps alot and heat. pool therapy is very use full  (exercise in pool with temp at 92-98 degrees) learning one on one with a physical therapist, it is like getting an rx..  also naproxen (500mg) helps with pain and stiffness.consult dr first every one is different. sorry no magic potion wish there was.

  7. I am afraid this is not an easy question to answer. Arthritis of the spine involves anatomical damage to the vertebrae which is not reversible. Management needs to concentrate on symptom relief. This means pain killers and exercises or physiotherapy.

  8. The Dr's prescribe Ibuprofen, i use walking, swimming, yoga and meditation, it won't cure it,  but the more actIve you are the easier it is, I've had it for 28 years, ive always got ibuprofen 400mg in the bathroom cabinet but very rely take them, i think, hey ho it could be worse and when i look at my 40 year old sister (just had knee replacement) with Rheumatoid i know which one id rather have any day of the week. lol

  9. First thing I would do is to eliminate sugar.  Sugar caused inflamation and arthritis is inflamation of the joints.

  10. are u talking ankylosing spondilitis? if so, add comment
