If you don't want that, then it's got to be either Stanstead, Manchester or Heathrow; otherwise you could change planes at Paris-Orly and avoid a second dose of the UK airport taxes.

well, I leave in Lyon, France.

To get to East midland you will have to change in london, there is no direct flights unfortunatelly !
