  1. WIN!

    Salon.com

hmm political opinion and hairstyles all in one place you say!

  2. lol....she says she doesn't know about the war in Iraq and isn't interested in the war. http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/

  3. She has a four month old son. She is running for VP? Does she care about her four month old? How does a person care for a four month old on the campaign trail?

I would expect she will follow McCain's lead when asked about Iraq.

  4. yea, she in fact has said that she hasn't thought about it...well qualified to be vp and prez.

  5. Their oldest son will be in Iraq for Army tour. They are just so delighted and honored to have this opportunity to pay back to their nation with the blood, limbs and arms of their young boy to "defend" their beloved nation.

Yes, she will support 50, 100 year Iraqi options McCain is talking about.

  6. Liberal hate mongers are going to hate this one.  Her son enlisted and due to be shipped to Iraq shortly.  She supports our victory.  Liberals won't understand the position but most Americans will.  Both candidates on the Rep. ticket have sons in the military.

Sucks to be a socialist these days don't it......

  7. It's sad that liberals are now engaging in sexism to make their points.

  8. Yes, she said she isn't really interested in it.  Just said we need an "exit plan" or something like that.  Other than that, she doesn't give it much thought.

EDIT: Caroljo, Obama has visited the troops many times.  I think you're paying too much attention to pathetic attack ads than actually look at the facts, as you say.

  9. She supports the troops in Iraq and has actually been the (before Obama bothered) to see what the situation is and to talk to them..

I find it amusing when people toss out simple comments when they haven't a clue..

I also think it's funny when people criticize others for not sending their kids to a war that they support and then are critical of her because her son decided to enlist..

  10. She isn't dwelling on it. She never said she isn't interested in it, it isn't her main focus, cleaning up the government is. She has a son going, she supports him and is all for an exit plan. She has been to Iraq.

  11. She said quote "I haven't been paying much attention to it." She has a son who is deploying for service this fall, but they actually didn't say where he was being deployed.

It is worth noting that VP nominee Joe Biden's son is leaving for Iraq this month. But we haven't heard the Democrats try to shove that down our throat now have we?

  12. She said that she hadn't thought about it much.

  13. In her speech earlier, she had nothing but praise for our soldiers in the Middle East. She is not an anti "Bush's war" loon, she is a realist.

I doubt that has ever been a time in our history during a war that a president and vice president each had sons serving in the combat zones.

This is a very inspiring duo.

  14. Not sure of her opinion. I'm sure that will be addressed during the convention and the debate.

As a Mom of an Army solider myself, I'm sure she is worried about her son.

I don't think that will interfere with her duties as VP.

  15. She supports the Iraq war so much that she is now sending her son off to fight in it... he didn't before, you know....

  16. this is what she said about it

"....I have a 19 year old who's getting ready to be deployed to Iraq. His Stryker brigade will leave on September 11th of this year. He's 19, he'll be gone for a year. [And so] kind of on a personal level, when I talk about, umm, the plan for the war, you know, let's make sure we have a plan here, and respecting McCain's position on that."

  17. The first answer is completely wrong....check the facts!

She has a son that is in the Infantry and in Iraq now.  So as a mother of a son in Iraq myself, I'm sure she's VERY interested in the War!  And, she's been to Iraq and visited the soldiers...more than Obama did when he had the chance!
