Again, why are you choosing to purchase a "new" Steinway when there are any number of fine "rebuilt" Steinways in the marketplace which are often better sounding bargains.  Check out rickjonespianos.com to view their used Steinway grands and Yamaha Gs and Cs as well as hear an actual video demonstration.

Are you looking for new, or used?

Jack Whitby's is out of the way, but well worth it.  They are very friendly and have been in the business for a long time.  Their prices are excellent.

For new Yamaha, Grand Staff pianos on Beltline sells them, however, they are very pretentious and more pricey.

World Wide Piano on Industrial is going to have a good selection too including Yamaha and Steinway.  Their prices are reasonable but not the best out there.

There is also a place on Inwood & the Tollway right across from The Great Indoors but I have not been there so do not have any recommendation.
