  1. sorry my cuz just got back but i will ask her and get back to you on it

  2. Yes. Head to Camden Town, its on the Northern line of the London Underground. You can go to The Underworld which is just past the station going towards Camden Lock. There are several others in that area.

Also, on a Friday night you could head to Kings Cross St. Pancreas (the overland station) and go to The Scala. There are three or four rooms and one plays rock, the other 80's the other R&B and there is a chill out room.

  3. Camden is the place to be!

Try the Barfly (5 minutes from Camden Town or Chalk Farm tube), where you can also catch a few good gigs. I watched the Mystery Jets before they became a hit and they were brilliant. Don't like the gig? There's always a good DJ downstairs.

The Lock Tavern (either Camden Town or Chalk Farm tube as before) is also great, but it closes around midnight (Mon - Thurs), although Fridays and Saturdays it's open till 1 am.

Or, you can go to Purple Turtle or Koko (both just opposite Mornington Crescent tube, but if you tried Barfly first and didn't like it for some reason - quite unlikely, you can easily walk from there to Morning Crescent). Note that Koko is also a fantastic venue for gigs, but you need to book ahead, if you're interested. It works like a normal rock club on other nights.

In two words: Good thing about Camden is you have choice and everything is within reasonable walking distance.

  4. yeh, I would say Camden too, i've been to the bar fly and that has good unsigned rock music and drinks ther too.  bit small but some might call cosy..
