Question:

Anybody like the new message board format?

Almost EVERYone I know that uses the Yahoo message boards do not like the new format. The old one was precise and logical. If you posted someone, you could "scroll back" easily to see who answered you. If you had alread read a post, you would see instantly that you had already read it. Now you have to switch back and forth between "topics" and "individual messages". It's a pain in the ***.

Bring back the old format.

I liked the old format best as well...but I'd take any format at this point...WHERE the h**l are the boards now??

Does anyone know whether they are being *worked* on, or if they've done away with them for good?

Have you tried the 'List as Individual Messages' option? That creates the format, almost exactly, to what it was before Yahoo! updated the format. I like both options of viewing the threaded topics, which was poorly laid out before, and viewing as individual messages. I also like the fact that it thwarts the 'chat room' mentality that a lot of posters have.
