  1. Ya come to Galway, thats where i live, in the county, there are some fab villages here that are near the coast.  The west of Eire is in my opinion the nicest part.... yes im being biased but hey what can ya say....?

Well good luck anyways... and if you do move to Galway, give me a shout, and we'l go for an aul drink...;)

  2. only lepruchans live there now

  3. Yes there is some nice small vilages near then sea, Irish villages usually consist of a shop and pub and lots of nosey people. You could go to a small town

Bettystown in Co meath is on beach

Clogherhead is a small place on the beach

    Santry Dublin

Sligo has some nice beach and suitable for surfing

  4. Move to Ireland?

    It is very expensive.

Though many like it, many don't.

Get a low cost flight & have a good look before you make a decision.

Best way is to drive - B&B - and  thoroughly explore the place.

It is a great place if you are rich but tough if you are on a tight budget (so is everywhere I suppose!?)

  5. MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

Yeah, it's a great country but VERY expensive if your coming from America as the house prices alone are several times that of American mansions (I know this from my American cousins).

Otherwise, its a great country to live in and has been called that highest standard of living in the world several times.

If your looking for a cheaper and more qute area I would suggest Galway or Cork-anywhere really that is outside the province of Leinster.

    Good Luck!

  6. move to somewhere in cork. Kinsale is a real good spot to go and its on the coast.

Galway is the next best and not colder than the rest of Ireland.

  7. no...but if  i did id be cool

  8. Maybe Cork

  9. never been to Galway but seeing as its in the west, I know its especially cold there. you should head for the sunny south east. wherever you choose to live there you're in close proximity to Dublin plus there's some great beaches on that side. Waterford would probably be a nice place to live, I've been there a few times and there's great shopping and loads of beautiful little villages. plus there's tramore in waterford, the best seaside resort in Ireland! :D

  10. The area around Galway IS one of the nicest in Ireland.

They have resisted the fashion of allowing everybody to build holiday houses at the most scenic spots, and people are generally very nice, but in some areas you have to at least try and speak Irish to be totally accepted.

This is not the case in the Sout West, around Waterford, another beautiful place, but I myself would move to South Cork, preferably Glengarriff, if I had the choice.

  11. Try NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVAN!

  12. You should look atCounty Waterford, where I'm from. It's got the sea, mountains, beautiful countryside and plenty of small villages for you to choose from, and then there's Waterford city for anything else you need. I'm from Dungarvan, quite a big town right beside the sea but there are loads of villages around the town

  13. everywhere in ireland is beautiful and even cities feel like small towns, people are wonderful and welcoming....here is a great website for those who are considering moving to ireland...good luck to you...
