Jogging on the linear trail in Wall. Ct., I saw a nice 2004 Yamaha aluminum frame laying on the trail.

I don't know what it's doing there, but it surely is a thing of beauty.

So if your wondering what happened to your frame, take a walk on the trail.

It's got to be worth something as plain scrap.

Maybe thats all it is?

  1. Call the cops. Frame is considered the BIKE.  So if you or I was to use that frame it could end up becoming a real criminal issue.

And they would want to know about stolen frames (and where they might be stripping stole bikes).

    Good Luck...

  2. aluminum frames are worth a pretty penny, but as stated the frame is considered the bike.... and given the value, even of just scrap, i find it difficult to believe that anyone other then the person who stole the bike and stripped the rest of the parts, would just ditch something that is very well worth the price of an engine, if not more.

call the cops (anon if you wish), who knows, you may be helping one unlucky son of a ***** regain atleast a part of what was stolen from him.
