  1. Alot of elbow grease.

  2. Depends whether it is a water based or oil based undercoat, and also will depend on the material your carpet is made of.

A good detergent and a lot of patience will get water based out, but will clean that part of the carpet. For oil based, use a product on the market, designed to clean paint brushes (not turps) one that rejuvenates dried on paint on brushes, but check it won't melt your carpet first!!

  3. Go into :  tipking.com and put in your question, it's a site that helps with most of the ways in which you can sort out  'tips' on accidental spillages, stains etc.

    Hope it helps you

  4. Oh dear! Needs detergent to break it down. 1001 cleaner or just washing up liquid. If it's dried turps might help or might not.

  5. Let undercoat dry then very lightly go over with a wire brush, so you are breaking it down slowly and hover as you go. This method does work I have used it myself but it does take a time.
