  1. earlyvegas.com has great deals and it's a good website with hotel promo codes, info on shows, reviews, clubs and attractions. We use this website everytime we book a trip to Las Vegas and I can't help but recommend it to everyone out there! Hope you have a great time in Vegas!

  2. The cheapest is to stay Sun to Thurs.  Orleans is 1.5 miles striaght west of the the Strip.  It's a nice place with larger rooms.  You can get rooms for less than $50 a night.  They have a free shuttle to the Strip.

Hotels like NY NY, Luxor, Excalibur are right on the strip.  If you book direct, look for the promotion codes.

Websites is a whole different story.  Most people don't know that the same people own LasVegas.com and Vegas.com so you find the same information.  The are a huge company.  Who knows what kind of deal you can get.

The best way to find a good rate is to use Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.  Then once you find what you like.  Go direct to that Hotel.  And see what kind of direct deal you can get.

And yes.  "Anybody" has been to Vegas.  In fact last year 40 million, yes million people visted Las Vegas.  And those numbers come from the Chamber of Commerce.

On any given night there are more than 100,000 Hotel rooms booked on The Strip.

  3. Most hotels on the Vegas strip are decent. The key to getting great discounts is to use the hotels promo code. Here are a few codes for hotels on the Vegas strip.

  4. Hi there, I am just home from Las Vegas, and we had a ball. We stayed at the Luxor, which was great, the room was brilliant, but that was after we requested a room change from the pyramid section of the hotel, which was very grubby! the tower section, where they changed us to, is the best part to be in, but you have to request that at time of booking. there is a buffet restaurant (More) and it is excellent, $10.99 for breakfast, $14.99 lunch, $19.99 for dinner. the choice is brill. The luxor connects to the excalibur and the mandalay, we tried the Excalibur buffet restaurant, but wouldnt recommend it, it was ok but a bit like a canteen!. The mandalay is the best of them all, we went there on our last night ($26.99 for dinner) and our only regret is that we had not been earlier, the choice and the quality was outstanding, with desserts to die for!!. The point I am trying to make is the Luxor wont break the bank, and you can still use other hotels anywhere on the strip, it is at the sth end of the strip and you can either walk along to the north end (stopping of at the different hotels as you go, this could take a couple of trips!!) or buy a $5 ticket for the Duece double decker bus which allows you to have unlimited travel for 24hrs, therre is a stop right outside the hotel, it also goes to the shopping outlets, one on the south and the designer .outlet in the north. I am sure there are cheaper hotels, and maybe better hotels for the same price, but I can only go on where we stayed, but the usual hotels that are offered from the U.K travel sites, ie Circus Circus, Treasure Island i would not recommend at all. because we visited and found them a bit run down. Anyway wherever you decide, i am sure you will thouroghly enjoy it. Have a good one.

  5. SouthCoast worked for me

  6. Try Excalibur, Imperial Palace and Tropicana ... go directly to each website as they will give the best prices and deals. The so called travel sites no longer get the best deals plus they charge for their services with fees.

  7. The Imperial Palace is a good place to stay. It is mid-Strip, inexpensive, and a clean hotel.

The best time to go is now - blazing heat - but you can also find good deals if you book far enough in advance (6 months ahead or more). Depending on where you live, you can often find good last minute deals, too.

There's lots, lots more about Vegas that you can discover online. Please peruse my website (see link below) to find out much, much more before you book your trip.

    Good luck!

    Mike
