Anybody out there with a good knowledge of Dining out in / around London's West End??

Question

I'm looking for advice on 3 places to go when i'm in London later on in the year. English/italian food is the preference but would consider somewhere else if it's really nice.

1st, I was after somewhere to go on a Thurs night with good food and a relaxed atmosphere

2nd, I was looking for somewhere special (price not important) where the food, service & atmosphere just blow you away.

3rd, Again somehere with a relaxed atmosphere for a meal on a Saturday night.

Any suggestions for restaurants that fit the bill are much appreciated.

Try Fifth floor at Harvey Nicks on Thursday. Rhodes 42 or Galvin at Windows on Friday and Chez Bruce on Saturday. If you can get bookings. Also consider the River cafe.
