Hi Everybody,

I'm Thai who has Canadian boyfriend. I have known him for 8 months and we have met each other for 4 times already (both in Canada and Thailand). We aim to live together for one year and might apply for common law partner if we get along very well (we won't marry in this few years for sure). The best way for us is I apply for student visa but the problem is he is not sure yet if he has to move to US after Oct so I don't know if I will have problem if I have student visa because it means I can go to US with my visitor visa for 6 month but seem I cannot re-entry to Canada with student visa after I leave Canada right? So I wonder what will happen if I go to Canada with multiple visa, stay there for 6 months and then we might have holiday in US for 2 weeks and want to come back to Canada again 6 month before apply common law partner. Is that possible? Some ppl said that immigration will not allow me to re-entry to Canada if I don't come back to Thailabd but just visit US.
