Anybody seen the ads in Golf and Golf Digest?

Question

It's for a "secret" golf ball that supposedly out performs all others. Its such a big secret they wont even mention the name. I would never buy them, curiousity is getting the better of me. Anyone out there with the name of the ball?

There is no perfect ball for everyone. You have to find the ball that works for your swing speed and ability.

I'm very curious to see a good answer to this question as these ads have caught my eye for years now....I've seen them for balls that are "50 yards longer" and drivers with NASA metal....it's gotta be c**p, but I'd love to see someone's response who's had the kahonas to have tried them

Its probaly just a Taylormade,nike, or Titleist ad because those are the only good golf balls out on tour.

I've been playing golf for about 40 yrs.  Every one of those years there was a ball or two that claimed to be longer and better.....("The latest and greatest")  I have probably tried 500 of these over the years and some of them I liked.....I just did not like them well enough to change from my Titleist ball.  The perfect golf ball is still a fictional beast as far as I am concerned.
