Anybody that went to honors class, please help

Question

how u doing?? ok so this monday is the first day of high school and I'm taking advanced english. I'm a freshman, so my problem is that i was given assignments to do during the summer, AND I DIDN'T DO ALL OF THEM!!!..I just finished one!! i know, it was wrong of me to be a lazy bum. and i feel terrible that i let down all the people that believe in me!!!!

so my question is, do you think that the teacher will take me out of her advance class because i didn't finish the assignments???

seriously i feel horrible because in middle school i was the valedictorian and i won 2 prices for excellence in school, its just that i like 2 have fun and i don't like to b stuck in the house studying, im far away from being a nerd. i guess im jus smart because i pay attention in class, thats it.

SO PLEASE ANYONE THAT WENT TO A HONOR CLASS HELP ME!!! or just anybody please..

well if the class is english, what were the assignments? reading books and writing essays? teachers may bs about being able to tell if you just read sparknotes or whatever, but it is completely untrue. those things are really in-depth. i speak from experience, and have made my way through many honors and AP courses this way. so seriously, if that kind of thing is what the assignments are, then i think you can definitely still finish. an essay takes like an hour, tops, to write anyway. i can empathize, and it totally sucks to be stressed out right before school starts, but it would be even worse to get there and not have the work. because you would be the only one. good luck!

no she will not take you out. she will probably lecture you but not kick you out. i don't think teachers can do that anyways. mine couldn't. but it will not be a good start in her class. and i hope you don't do this if you decide to take an AP class. because then you won't just be suffering but your grade tremendously.

No, you won't be kicked out. You will be required to make up the work. I had an honors english class and missed a few assignments. I wasn't dismissed from the class. Good luck.

no she probably won't take you out of her class, but she probably won't think your as ambitious and committed as the students who did the whole assignment.
