  1. There are too many to list. Ireland itself is a must see. I have traveled there with my wife many times and every time is an adventure. We almost never make "plans" to see anything , and yet we "see" everything. don't take a  bus tour or go with a "tour group" because then you only get to see what they think you should see. Not that there is anything wrong with that. They will take you to some of the best places in  the country, but to see the greatest places , you need to get lost. I mean literally lost. Its exciting and fun , its adventurous and daring. There is always a friendly stranger to help you back onto the right path. That's how to find the real Ireland , and you just might find yourself as well.

  2. Sligo has a beautiful beach called Enniscrone.

Dublin - Kilmainhaim Jail, Christchurch cathedral, Grafton St shopping, St. Stephen's green Park, Moore st. Markets, Natural History Museum

Co. Clare- cliff of mohr, Doolin, Lahinch beack

    co. kerry, great beaches

  3. Definately the Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Moher...both are gorgeous!!!!

  4. Go to Galway, Cork, Dublin

In Dublin Kimainham Jail, Jameson and Guinness Tours are good.

    Co. Clare

    the cliffs of moher

    the burren

    Co. Wexford

    Hook head

    John F. Kennedy Park

    and if you have time

    Co. Laois

    Slieve Bloom Mountains.

  5. Depending on your age group and your interests you have a range of things to see. One of the must see places are the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare on the west coast and the Giants Causeway in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. Galway City is a vibrant, young city, with a thriving and varied night life and a good number of high quality restaurants, bars, clubs etc. If you can manage a trip to see Newgrange in Co. Meath you shouldn't pass it up as it's the oldest man made structure in Europe, dating back to before the pyramids. Co. Kerry has some breathtaking scenery, as does Co. Wicklow. A visit to Croke Park to watch a Hurling game is also a must. Really there is a lot to do and see, from historical sites to modern art. The Irish Tourist Board will be able to provide you with any literature you need to give you further ideas.

Additional details re Sligo. Though not the prettiest of towns, Sligo is an up and coming town and makes a great base to explore Donegal and Leitrim. It can be quiet during the week but comes alive at the weekends. Galway it isn't, but it does have it's charms!
