Question:

Anybody want a weight loss buddy?

Please don't give me any diet tips or anything that is not what I want I would like somebody on the other end of the computer who I can share my weight loss experience with thank you.

I've heard that losing weight is easiest when you have somebody alongside to egg you on and lose weight together but I don't have anybody to do that with, all my friends are skinny and it really annoys me when they say I want to lose so and so much when I would kill to look like them, so I would feel really embarrassed asking them, plus I think it would be really rewarding to have somebody there to say congratulations to you when you have lost a couple of pounds don't you think? I am 5''3/5"4 one of the two, I weigh 13 stone 2, or 184 pounds and my BMI is 32.6, so if there is anybody who would like somebody in your situation to help you lose weight add me as a friend or leave your e-mail address and would you please but your height and weight so I know what yours is please? Thanks x

    If you want to lose weight then you need to forget about all the diet books and exercise videos and just get on with eating fewer calories and burning more calories. Simple as that.

    The real trick comes with the mental side of weight loss which is where I've found most of my clients suffer. With hypnosis or hypnosis programs the mental side is covered because the hypnotic messages work with the subconscious mind. If you can master the mental side of weight loss, not only can you lose weight, but you can keep it off; which is the real problem most people face.

    Make sure you have set yourself realistic weight loss goals.

    Make sure you have appropriate motivation - a reward / punishment method works for some people.

    Make sure you have the support of people around you - friends / family.

    Make sure you keep your focus on your goal.

    And get rid of your bathroom scales!!!

    Weight loss typically occurs with inches being lost before the weight goes. I've had clients who have lost no weight for a month, yet they have dropped 2 dress sizes in that month. As well as monitoring your weight weekly, take your measurements weekly too and notice the difference!

  4. i wanna lose weight but i have a food addiction, and am quite weak at losing weight.  I keep it up for  a few days then i lose conviction.  I do need a buddy though, but if i mess up i don't want me to influence you in anyway.

    Oh sorry, height (6ft), weight 2_3 pounds (lol I  am not saying what i weigh on here), BMI 37 something or other; age 34, two kids and husband and major issues lol

  5. OMG yes.. do consider me. I also want a weight loss buddy but I'm facing the whole embarassing asking friends problem as well.

    I'm 15, 5'5, and I weight 140 and I want to lose 20 pounds.
