Anybody watch Tru Calling?

My mom started watching Tru Calling on Sci-Fi and loves. I just started watching it and noticed that it was only on for two years. It seems like a good show.... Anybody know why it was taken off the air?

The usual - bad ratings.  If I recall correctly, it barely got renewed for a second season.  I think it was brought back as a mid-season replacement.  Then it was canceled before they even aired all of the episodes that were filmed.  They were all shown in Australia and the UK, but the final two or three episodes were never aired in the US.

I think the problem was that it felt kind of muddled and aimless in the beginning.  It didn't really pick up until they introduced Jack, and by that point they'd lost too many viewers.
