Anybody watch Winter X yesterday?

Question

How about the carnage on the second to last hit in the Skier X event, both mens and womens. Anyone else suprised they didnt shut the course down to re-shape that hit and keep the skiers from yard-saling themselves at the flatbottom? The course was way too fast in my opinion.

Dont get me wrong, it was probably the most entertaining event I have ever seen at the X Games, but Im suprised someone didnt get killed on that thing.

I totally agree, they should of closed it down for an hour maybe less just to fix that hit...

When you enter the X-games, you sign up for that kind of stuff.  That was really bad, though.  It's scary what can happen out there.

they should of just stopped the event and resume it another day, it would do no good fixing the hill because not only the factor that it was a race and people were bumping each other, which caused the first crash which led into the last couple, but the wind was also a factor and you cant control wind and also werent there only 6 wrecks (counting the 3 that werent at the hill) and i dont think 6 is enough wrecks to reshape the course. If all of them were at the same spot then maybe , but  they werent (plus i dont think the one in the 3rd quarter final was the guys fault). Like i said 6 isnt enough and they all were at the same spot so there really isnt any reason to reshape the course but maybe halting the event to another time.
