Anybody who has seen the movie mirrors answer this....?

I watch it and I just didnt understand part of the movie. Why did the mirrors want that old nun. And what was up with the end with that old man who helps run the place. Can anybody help me out...

Supposively the nun was possesed when she was a child. Some doctor built some dome with mirrors to suck out the demon, and i guess the demon got pissed cause they took him away from his chic, and was killing people until they brought her back. Then when the walls caved in at the end i am guessing it knocked the security guy out and when he woke up he was on the other side of the mirror. I don't know that's why i dont' like mirrors, they confuse me. lol.

When the nun was a little girl she was possessed and the mirrors took the evil spirit out of her, when she was taken away from there the evil spirit stayed behind and wants to posses her again that's why it is haunting the place and as for the old man he is the one that called the cops to report what he sees when he gets to work in the morning. The other guy died when he got crushed and the mirrors stole hi spirit.

The nun was possesed by a demon using mirrors, but then when she was sent to treatment, the mirrors wanted her back, so they were attacking everybody that came in the house, until they got the nun back. and in the end, when the mirrors explode and the house collapses, the guy (keither sutherland) saw everything opposite, and when he came across a mirror in the city, he couldnt see his reflections, so he was stuck in the mirror world.
