Annulment is resorted to by people in the Philippines who have failed marriages because divorce is not recognized!

The usual ground for annulment unde Article 36 of the new Family Code is "psychological incapacity" .

You need to see to a doctor /psychiatrist for testing and evaluation after which the doctor will submit a report in court and testify by recommending that the marriage be annulled.

You also need a lawyer to prepare and file the petition in court in your behalf.

It will take about 3 to 4 months to finish the case.
