Anybody who solves the rubiks cube?

Question

is vaseline a petroleum jelly?

because everybody keeps saying not to put petroleu jelly but put vaseline... is there a difference?

and can i buy it on a drugstore?

vaseline is petro jelly.  

Now if you want to spin your cube faster, first of all you need a speed cube.  It's the one that you can actually adjust the torque strength on the cube.    Just be aware, the philips head screws are very very soft.  Have someone torque it for you if you are not good at s******g things on and off.

Next you need a silicon type of grease.  This type won't eat into plastic.

I believe if you get a speed cube, a small tube of silicon grease will come along with it.  If not, it's pretty cheap.

Vaseline is just a name brand petroleum jelly.  Yes you can buy it at any drug store.  The generic brand will be cheaper.
