Anybody who works at a restaurant? easy 10 points!?

Question

Does anyone know how old i would have to be to work as a) a hostess, and/or b)a waitress at a Swiss Chalet, Boston Pizza, or Kelsey's?

and preferably somebody who works at one of those restaurants or knows for sure. Thanks!

(ps: I live in Canada, if that makes any difference to the ages)

In the US, you need to be at least 16 to work.

21 for waitress (because you need to be 21 to serve alcholic drink).

I dont know those particular places and I'm sure its different in Canada but in the U.S you have to be 18 to serve alcohol. NOT 21. Hostess can be any age at most places given you are at least old enough to have  a work permit.

In most places you can work at 16 or 17 but can not handle liquor . For that you must be 18. PS I am not either of the two you asked for but I haave resided in Texas for almost 30 years

in the US i know you have to be 16 to be a hostess and usually 18 to be a waitress if you have to serve alcohol. i wouldnt think it would be that much different in canada.
