  1. There are a lot fans out there that think Fed will be back.  They just don't post here much.

  2. ME for sure...he'll get his form back. Nadal although good will yo-yo. He'll not be as consistent and reign as long as FedEx have achieved. In fact NONE of the present crop of top players show signs of being able to hold on to No1 for sustained periods of months or years?...or win as many titles *** Pete, Fed EX or Agassi....they are not made of sterner stuff!

  3. ROGER FEDERER,

    HES SUPERDUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS!

  4. yeah

  5. we do believe in roger.

It was not easy for any player to play against a lot of factors, he was playing to defend his No.1 spot , he playing against the huge pressure he has from the media, he was playing against the bad run which made him in that bad position.......a lot of things were on his shoulder... Nobody likes to put himself on Roger's shoes..

So how he could tolerate all these factors, he is human after all and not a machine.

He has been struggling and suffering and all the conditions weren't in his favor besides the Media kept pressurizing him more and more.

After all he is human and not a machine and we shall not forget what he has achieved in the past five years.

I really challenge any player to stay as world no.1 as long as Roger b'cos it's not easy to stay as world No.1 for a long time nowadays b'cos it needs a lot of hard work, a lot of focus, a lot of fitness, a lot of practice, a lot of competitve matches and a lot more.

Maybe now he can relax and take a break from the media and its pressure and I am sure he will play much better in the next events b'cos the pressure will be off.

Nobody stays no.1 forever and we shall never forget what has achieved and the joy he brought to our lives.

I am a huge fan of roger and I think he is the best tennis player history has ever seen.

  6. Whether Federer is still the best or not is debatable.  Personally, I think he can still beat just about anybody on hardcourt.  And yes, I do think that he'll be winning a few more majors before he's done.  He probably just won't be winning ALL of them anymore.

  7. Count me in. I firmly believe he has more left in him. He doesn't seem to be ill or injured, just a little shaky mentally. I can't speak for Roger and say what the problem is but lack of focus and with it confidence would be a good guess. The fact that it's a mental problem is what makes it so frustrating. If he can get his head back on track, there is absolutely no reason he can't reach his old level. Obviously, with Nadal and Djokovic arriving as serious threats, I don't see him just shutting the Tour down the way he did about three years ago. That said, he certainly has it within him to win more Majors. He is simply too talented to fade from the scene.

Maybe his Gold, even though it was in doubles, will help restore his confidence and maybe steer him back on track.

Granted, he hasn't given us much to shout about this season, but he's still got the best, most creative game out there.

Here's hoping he can rediscover his form of old.

  8. The good thing about Federer's falling out is that there is nothing physical about it. He hasn't sustained any injuries, he isn't growing old, and he hasn't overdone it. I think he just has to get his mind right again in order to think about coming back. However, as much as I adore Federer, I have to admit that I don't think he'll be playing tennis much longer. He has taken some really hard hits, and it seems like he doesn't even want to play anymore, as if he's simply doing it out of duty. I mean, to be beaten by Blake? Blake, who, before the Olympics, had never won so much as a set in their previous eight games? Sadly, I don't think he's coming back. Physically, he could, but I don't think he will. :(

  9. He'll be back.

    And h**l's coming with him.

    h**l'S COMING WITH HIM!

  10. I think Federer is still the best. He is elegant, humble and the best tennis player. he is just having a bad luck. if he wins a couple of grand slams I think he will continue being the best.

  11. Of course he does. He's going to break Pete's record.

    Don't stop believing.

  12. of course.

    everyone has their bad days,

  13. I do for sure! A player like Federer can never be written off. He's just having a bad year it was bound to happen to him just like it did with many other great players. His year has nothing to do with injuries it seems like it's all mental and his confidence is shaken. I think slipping down from number 1 will be the best thing for Federer because though he has obviously handled the pressure and expectations that comes with being number 1 in the world for a VERY long time and winning the three other grandslams for years, and going to all four slam finals for two straight years and pretty much winning everything he enters but he couldn't keep that up forever. This bad year will be good for him because he'll be out of the spotligh and the pressure will be off his back and he can just play tennis to his heart's content and work himself back to where he wants to be. Federer isn't even remotely finished with leaving his mark on the sport of tennis by a long shot, you just watch 2009 will be the best year he's ever given us and it won't stop there, Federer's legend is just beginning to grow.

  14. Yes, we do exist. Just not as vocal at the mo. Whats the point? Everyones entitled to their own opinion and noone on this site listens to anyone else. But yeah, I think he will. We just gotta wait and see, no point in speculating.
