Anynone know about the concept of mana?

i heard it is a power u can use, and i have read that it has been used by God and ( strangley enough) santa claus. also i think i am coming close to discovering how to use and apply it.....almost

Mana was food that fell from heaven in the old testament when the isrealites were wandering around in the wilderness.

Many people interpet it as knowledge of God. Man cannot survive on food alone, he needs a relationship with God..........that type of thing.

It started being used as far back as the 80s in video games as a way to measure magical powers. You can perform magical feats as long as your mana bar is filled up enough.........

However, you have to have your blood bar filled up too, its just a gaming element. It doesnt apply to the real world.

If you really want to know about Mana, read the old testament.

Are you talking about the way that God made manna fall out of the sky...and the way that the fish and bread multiplied. But that wasn't the manna's power...it was by God's power. Have you googled this yet?

Yes the term was first brought up in Dungens and Dragons the curse of the asure bonds series games.

Now has been adapted to represent spell energy once again in games and also the final fantazy movies as a life force or better known as Chi.

Manna is what "god" uses to feed his "people" in Egypt. Mana is a substance referenced to in games, books, and fantasy themed role play. I don't think that you have any idea on what you are talking about, but if you discover something I'd love to hear it.

You're leaving me wondering why you're asking us if you're on the track to discovering how to manipulate it. I don't think that anyone who could do that would be on yahoo discussing it though.

I've heard of the Hawaiian concept of Mana. Mana means "power" in Hawaiian. Hawaiians believed that spirits and even people have mana. They were very in touch with spirituality and believed that the mana of one person could affect others.
