Anyoe who has AOL internet.............

Question

Ive had Aol internet for a year now, and the connection is rubbish, it disconnects every 5 minutes and after half an hour it wont connect for the rest of the day.

ive rang up AOL and they keep saying theyve fixed it when they havnt.

Anyone else have the same problem?

How did you fix it?

for the love of god ditch aol asap and at least get dsl

AOL internet has been bought out by carphone warehouse a while ago ever since then the connection sucks and speed has gone back down to near on dial-up speed. They told me it has been sorted but like h**l has it. I am currently looking at getting virgin media as it is cheaper and everyone i have spoken to say it is lightning quick connection aswell.

Are you on Broadband?

There is probably something wrong with  your computer or your connection, and it`s nothing to do with aol.

Remember, anyone can use aol`s software now - and YOU can use any other too.

If everything is working ok, your pc should connect automatically via Internet explorer.  ..whether aol fires up or not.

Ignore aol, and try to connect via Internet Explorer.

Change your internet provider as aol are absolutley c**p,I feel your pain as i am with them aswell and they really are pants!Go with BT,SKY, or anyone but ditch bloody aol!Oh p.s. even though your connection probs. and speeds are likely to be down to your local exchange,ao blinkin L use some very intrusive software so get rid if i was u!
