  1. It is mighty tall for someone with short legs, but you can ask if you can get a lowering kit for it. You need to do this before you begin riding it. People that say tiptoeing a bike is acceptable are not thinking safety. There are roads that have grooves in them that can leave you with no footing. You can be backing you bike up over a dip, and you have no footing. Whatever bike you choose, you want to be able to flat-foot it. Because I ride an exceptionally heavy bike, I want not only a flat foot- but a bent leg.

This has nothing to do with being a rookie rider. I've been riding almost 40 years. Experienced riders want to be able to touch the ground.

  2. You don't have to flat ur 2 foots down the ground..  you'll do fine as long as you can tip toe both foots. Now, when you ride, just one one leg to hold the bike at a stop... donee deal

  3. im 6'1 and i can flat-foot it easily.

my friend is about 5'8 and he is tip-toeing it.

being 5'4, i dont think you will be able to put two feet on the ground at the same time....

  4. If they are it's probably stolen.

  5. I knew a guy who was 5'8 and lowered his 05 600rr so he could flat foot. Being worried about touching the ground is a newb thing not a short thing. You don't have to have much foot on the ground to balance the bike
