Anyone Else Being Plagued By AntiVirus 2009?

Question

Anytime I go onto a page or open internet explorer a "PURCHASE ANTIVIRUS 2009 FOR ONLY $49" Its driving me mad!

It keeps telling me my computer is full of viruses when I am fully aware that I have none!

I was just wondering is it happening to anyone else and do you know to make it go away!?

Download AVG and run it its free. That should get rid off it.

or 30 day trial of kaspersky, update it, scan the system, it will solve ur problem

You are infected with AntiVirus 2009. This program is not real, nor it does its function. It only generates those pop-up messages and wants to steal Your money.

not long ago i got infected with anti-virus 2008

the only way i got rid of it was to do a system restore to a date back when i did not have the virus.

install a popupblocker and then it wont pop up it will show a yellow bar ontop of ur screen and then you can just exit it Good luck

If other anti-virus programs fail.

Try avast.

It is a very effective and free anti-virus program.

AntiVirus 2009 is, itself, a virus designed to extort money from you.

Get a real anti-virus package such as AVG Free.
