  1. Giant Douche or t**d Sandwich?

  2. Most of the people in here will not be voting this year because they are children.

  3. If you do not vote and you are able to then you should move to Texas and shovel sh** for George Bush 'cause right there is when you really get what you pay for.

  4. i would vote...but im too young. But how could you not vote for the person that is going to run the country that you live in?

  5. I have made this election year a priority to vote. My Wife , who has never voted in her life has registered. She has had enough of the likes of the Republicans. I told her months ago that her family yell and whine the loudest about this government but never vote. I think that is what turned her around.

  6. I've voted every year that I've been able. I feel it's more important to vote this year than any other.

SO: You will NOT vote for someone who will do HALF of what you believe in, and essentially give someone who will do NOTHING you believe in a vote. I don't see the logic.

  7. well im definitely voting this year america needs a change and its up to every one to go out of their way to actually change it! and without our votes everyone within this american nation is screwed up completely.

  8. If you don't vote you are abdicating your responsibility as an American citizen and shifting the responsibility to others to decide how the country will be run.  This is our government and we are responsible for it.

  9. Not voting elected Dumbya. Anyone who still thinks that's a good way to show their "superiority" or whatever deserves nothing better.

  10. I'm voting, but need some answers....if anyone knows answer this.

EDIT:WOW!!! to the girl that said she is neither a repub or dem and uses that as an excuse to not vote is dumb!!! Have you heard of Independent!!!! There are others you can vote for, and voting on issues in your local area is also extremely imp!!!! If you don't vote cuz they made mistakes, how else do you expect to change that especially if citizens have your attitude and don't vote for change!!!

EDIT: IT is YOUR choice, but choosing to not vote bc you are neither a rebub or dem like one girl said is just dumb!

  11. well a legitimate reason would be be/c i am only 15

so yeah what ghost of ronald reagan said

  12. Why would you not vote? You have the FREEDOM to vote and you should take advantage of that.

  13. When you don't vote during the Presidential elections you are also missing out on voting for things like local judges, councilmen and any other local official that will effect you greater than the President... if you don't like the presidential choices then choose for the third party... because even though they won't win they might just might get national recognition that they exist giving voters another choice 4 or more years from now...

  14. Yes, you should be voting as well even if you don't like either of them. Just vote for who wouldn't f*** up as much as the other atleast.

  15. I can NOT think of a reason not to vote.

Even if you don't like either of the major-party candidates, there are other, third-party candidates to vote for.

Or, if you don't want to cast a vote for any Presidential candidate at all, there several other things on the ballot to vote for, such as Representatives and Senators in Congress and your state legislature.  Several states also have the position of Governor up for grabs, as well.

There are also likely amendments to your state Constitution and other bills that need to be passed with a 50 + turnout.  That means that may be good bills that need to be passed, but may not be because of low turnout.

The Presidency is the only position that is solely federal.  Everybody else represents you and/or your state, in one form of another.

It is not only your right to vote, it is your obligation to vote.

  16. It's not only a privilege, but if you're a Repub. and you don't vote, it's a vote for Obama, and if you're a Dem. and don't vote, it's a vote for McCain.  On second thought, liberals please stay home!

  17. Great- then don't complain when things don't change for you. Evidently not making a choice is a profound indication of your character. I hope that rock that you've crawled under is comfortable. Why bother to post a question at all ? The defeatist attitude is why America is in the shape it's in now . I blame the people who sit back & do nothing.

  18. I am 59 yrs old, and I have never voted in my life.  I am a child of the 60s, and never trusted any of them, since politics has always been a dirty game to me.  After seeing Palin chosen for VP.. I will be registering and voting, AND praying.  If McCain allows someone who was part time Mayor of a town of 6000, to be called "qualified".. then I don't trust him to make any decisions. As much as is coming out of the woodwork.. I don't accept her being Gov. as valid either.

  19. This is probably one of the most pivotal elections in the history of our country.  I can't see why anyone would not vote.  I know one thing; the people that don't vote will be the exact same ones complaining about everything, yet did nothing about it.

  20. I will vote, but the temptation to not vote is understandable. I am not happy w/ either candidate - and yet there are things that I do like about each. For me, it will unfortunately come down to what is best for me & mine - which I'm not certain will be the best for the whole. That makes me very sad indeed. I do not trust Obama. One of the true things in Palin's speech was that his message changes from speech/region to speech/region. He says what people want to hear....at the moment. I also keep coming back to the whole Trinity Church thing. There is no way that I could belong to a church for as long as he/his family did, and not have any clue as to what was being preached. I feel that the only reason he left was because the racist rantings were exposed. I like McCain in that I think he is an honest and bipartisan fellow, but ultimately, tax wise, he will continue the middle class and small business beating that the Bush Jr. years have brought. I am still open minded though, and could be swayed - still.

  21. im not voting because im neither republican nor democrat..

anyway i wouldnt vote cause no matter who we got..unless they correct the mistakes that has brought us down...we're scr*wed...

  22. Not to vote is your right. Just don't say anything after to elections. You don't have the right at that time to have an opinion to something you didn't at least try to make a difference in.

  23. Um, EVERYONE should vote, even if it is a case of picking the worst of 2 evils. Because beleive me, one will be worse for our country than the other! And to the people who choose not to vote: I better NEVER hear you complaining about anything that has to do with the state of our country.

  24. i hate it when people don't vote

you dont understand what a privilage it is!

  25. I plan on voting this election although I don't agree with either of them. One vote really does make a difference whether people realize it or not. And even though I don't agree with either of them completely, I'll vote for the one that I mostly agree with. I feel that as an American it is a priviledge and responsibility to vote. So I hope that you change your mind and vote.

  26. I am.  If for no other reason than to negate a vote for that America hating, racist ex-crackhead Marxist the Democrats have nominated.

Believe it or not, I probably would have stayed home if they had nominated Hillary.  As much as I don't like Hillary, she doesn't frighten me like B. Hussein O'Crackhead does.

  27. I vote every year, in every election.  Your most important votes are your local votes and they affect you greatly.

It's not just about President, it's about where you live.  It's truly shameful to not vote.
