Gdoggy, Manny WAS traded to the Dodgers.

I am kind of glad too.  I am a huge Red Flops fan.  They are losing a clutch bat and good D off the Monster.  But that is about it.  His base running sucks and he is lazy.

I'm glad he's gone, but what really irks me is that he was traded to a good team with a chance to go to the WS.  Boston has to pay 7 million for him to play there, lose 2 prospects, and only have Bay locked up for next year.  Seems to me , they should have just traded him to the Pirates since they are paying him anyway, then Pittsburg

would have gotten the 2 additional draft picks when he left there- at least he would be playing in the "Iraq" of MLB--   no one would see or care how he was doing--   once again they enable him to go on to bigger things

Manny did not get traded but I saw Manny holding a sign that said trade me straight up for Bret Farve

I'm glad now i don't have to worry about Manny getting clutch hits against the Yankees, so now we could pitch around big papi to get to Jason Bay
