Anyone Hear of this CRAZY RELIGION?

Its this religion where everyone gathers on a certain day of the week and celebrates this persons death 2000 years ago. They have this huge statue in the front of the place where it shows the person dead but hanging. Then people sing songs of praise in front of the statue of the dead guy and wait his return to judge everyone. Pretty cool huh? Oh and alot of the followers of this God Wear wear necklaces showing the dead guy.

i know that Greeks and Cypriots on a certain day during X-mas holidays after church they build a wooden statue of Judas and burn it in a big fire to celebrate as he betrayed Jesus .And wear bracelets  for two moths and burn them in that same fire the same day!

Hummm.... Sounds like the catholic religion. However they worship the statue of the Virgin Mary as well (if not more). The dead guy you refer to is (as i think you already know) Jesus Christ whom yes did die on a cross. The awaiting of his return or "Judgment Day" isn't believed by all that this day exists (especially in the south). Songs of praise or "hymes" are sung to "make a joyful noise for the Lord". If it sounds pretty cool you should read this really popular book about that same dead guy and his daddy it's called "The Bible" you can find free copies of it in every hotel room, library, courthouse, online and at any church (that's where they go and sing those songs). It's a real page turner!!!
