if so, where are you/the person from?? whats your/their first name?? who are your parents/grandparents. grandparents would be more helpful!

  1. Probably the same Old English name as Hickock, Haycock, Hitchcock.

    My copy of the Electoral Roll lists 37 people in the UK with Hedgcock as their surname


  2. There are many persons with this name in the US census records for 1900.  All of these are not going to be from the same place.

    I would strongly advise that instead of looking for *any* Hedgcock in the world ... your focus is better, if you post WHO your brickwall is, where, and an approximate date. There are different resources, depending on all those factors, and it is much better if someone knows the most likely place to get results.

    You don't need to be related, in order to find the documents or records that will help you.

    has 300+ entries for Hedgcock and 4,400+ for Hedgecock. Some entries have pedigrees that show parents and grandpaents, some don't. They are mostly from the UK and USA.
