Sure they have "redheads" but not as much like eg in Ireland. But you would be surprised how many blond italians with blue eyes exists!

In Italy there's a lot of variety, I'm Italian and I have three friends with red hair, it's kinda normal.

there are a lot of redhaired people, but, like everywhere, they are not so common! Most of the people have brown, light brown and blonde hair, only a little part have black hair. If you wanna know, i met a lot of redhaired in Rome, and in southern Italy, in the places where normans made their colonies. Though redhaired have always existed in Italy, there are also latin words to indicate it: for example, "rufus,a,um". Anyway, as unofficial statistics, i can say (i live in milan, northern italy) that at school, high school and university, i always had at least 1 redhaired in my class, like 1/25.

I'm not Italian and I don't have red hair, but I know some Italians with red hair.  My roommate's friend is full-blooded Italian and she has red hair.  I knew another girl in high school who was Italian, and she had red hair, too.

Yes, but it's only because I dye it. It's naturally black.

I'm Italian but my hair are dark black; however red hair are not so diffused here.
