I am hoping this will lead you in the right direction - I know what I'm telling you isn't Hollywood, but may be if you are ever in the area.....

There is a greaser barber shop in Costa Mesa right by the Sidewalk Cafe (on the backside) it's old school 50's style, younger dudes working there and I guess they have playboys and stuff in there too - sorry that I don't know the name of it - it's off of Newport Blvd and I THINK the name of the street you turn on is Rochester - if it's not Rochester it. right around there.
