Anyone Know if i can go to Spain?

i am a mexican passport holder and would like to visit Spain for a holiday, does anyone know if mexican nationals are able to travel to Spain without a visa or entry clearance. and whats the rules on how long i can stay there. thanks

  1. To go to Spain as a Mexican national you do not currently require a visa if the purpose of your trip is to visit and the duration of your stay will not exceed. Mexico is one of a number of countries whose nationals are exempted from requiring a visa for a visis to up to 3 months under the Schengen common travel area of which Spain are members with another 14 EU countries.

    To be certain you can always check out the Spanish Embassy web site (which is not the best) or give them a call (details on the attached link). Have fun.


  2. I think you need an entry clearance. I've been on planes to spain and they ask if anybody not a european passport holder or national could they fill in a form. Can't you e mail the spanish embassy in mexico for info.
