Anyone Know if i can go to Spain?

i am a mexican passport holder and would like to visit Spain for a holiday, does anyone know if mexican nationals are able to travel to Spain without a visa or entry clearance. and whats the rules on how long i can stay there. thanks

To go to Spain as a Mexican national you do not currently require a visa if the purpose of your trip is to visit and the duration of your stay will not exceed. Mexico is one of a number of countries whose nationals are exempted from requiring a visa for a visis to up to 3 months under the Schengen common travel area of which Spain are members with another 14 EU countries.

I think you need an entry clearance. I've been on planes to spain and they ask if anybody not a european passport holder or national could they fill in a form. Can't you e mail the spanish embassy in mexico for info.
