Well I am going to say I might understand your ?

Now for the purse it was ==like close to 3,000.00==2,900.some odd cents

then the horse was HELMA,, 2nd was BASSO =Jockey I do not know ,,!

YRS,  ===1895? CLOSE TO THAT but I think that is right !

Jockey was Perkins ridding at 122lb

funny the time was pretty good back then ,, but they did not have the clocks  we do today ,,2:37 1/2

I do think there where to more race's that had less money
