  2. everyday in heigh school, but now none

  3. No.

  4. Is short-wave still around?

  5. Sorry have not heard that since the 1970's.

  6. I've been an on and off listener for about 20 years...

Usually catch BBC worldservice around 5975

Radio Habana (Cuban radio) that has a good SW program on 6000

but I've heard many other things and only way I keep up is subscriptions to Popular communications and occasional copies of Passport to World band radio books

As I've heard Hard Rock music (the old Z-Rock syndicated radio network) aimed to the soldiers in the first Iraq war (1991) on 7355 from WRNO New Orleans

I caught a few local radio stations in Dubai and South Africa years ago on the SW.. but alas they don't broadcast anymore (As that was one of the reasons I listened)

But apparently one of the stations I liked HCJB is going off the air to the americas:-(
