I've been married for two years but lately I've been having dreams of cheating on him. It's getting creepy the other night I had a dream about his brother and also my ex boyfriend. I don't have feelings for either of them, I think that's why its catching me off guard. Can anyone tell me why and how to stop them, I sleep next to my husband and dream of other guys that we both know it's weird and very uncomfortable. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. tell him and make him understand that u would never ever cheat on him. maybe u'll feel better.

  2. No honest person can claim to understand what dreams mean. Even the best neurologists and psychologists who study dreams will claim no such knowledge.

However, psychologists will agree that dreaming or thinking about others when with someone close to you is pretty common. The fact that this is recurring might simply be attributed to your anxiety concerning the dreams and not any deeper "meaning" of the dreams.

Though I can not vouch for the accuracy of the claims in my reference; after reading through it, there appears to be some reasonably useful advice in trying to alter dreams.

  3. s*x in a dream has to do with intimacy.  Are your emotional and

spiritual needs being met?- and not by your husband; that's not his

job.  It could be that you aren't finding fulfillment in other areas of your life.

  4. have a better s*x life with him so you don't have the need to fantasize about others.
