Anyone agree wit me on Bob Marley?

Does anyone else agree with me that he is not as good as people make him. people make him like he is the only good songwriter there ever was nd hes not. far from it. if you agree tell why please. thanx

Watch his biography on YouTube u will understand what an inspirational person he is. Not only was he a great songwriter he helped the Jamaican people hrough his music. Maybe his music is not your style but there is no doubt tht he was

a truly talented man.

I agree with you 100%. I never cared for Bob Marley at all. He really appeals to certain crowds, I.E. stoners. I felt that Jimi Hendrix was much more talented. Another band that everybody raves about is the Beatles and I never understood that either.

He's not that great of a song writer.  You are right.  But that's not why people love him.  People love him because of what he stood for.  He stood for love, peace, and freedom.  He expressed these beliefs through his songs, and that's what makes us all respect him.

Yeah I agree. He was all like marijuana smoking.. I just think the beat was catchy, not the lyrics.
