Anyone ave ideas as to something nice I could do for my friend?

She's having kind of a hard time, and I wish I could do something to make her feel better. I don't care what it costs, though I don't feel like I should send the message that I think I can just buy her a better mood. I don't want to do anything romantic for her because she's not my girlfriend and I don't want to make her think I'm only doing something nice so that she'll go out with me.I genuinely do want to make her feel better without seeming like a creep or a materialistic pig.

The situation is that her ex boyfriend has been kind of an a*****e, even though he really does care about her a lot, but they were having a lot of fights and he thought that they should break up because they were hurting each other by fighting so much, and now he wants her back but she's kind of thinking of dating a few other guys and he's basically forcing her to choose between the guy she knows loves her and the guys she thinks she might have real possibilities with.

Anyway, suggestions are appreciated.

If you honestly don't think of her in that way, there's not much you can do. Spending a lot of money on her, even if it was to treat her and her friends to a meal or something would look dodgy.

Also getting her a gift, so maybe offer her a sympathetic ear, and rent a film for you both to watch, or take her for a drink.

It's really sweet of you and she's very lucky to have you as a friend

Cook her something. Even if you're a bad cook--especially if your a bad cook.  In fact, if you are a bad cook, invite her over to watch you cook, it will probably make her laugh.

But, anyways, find out her favorite dish, or find a recipe online you think she might like.

And by the way, her boyfriend sounds like a jerk. Tell her that she shouldn't waste her time with someone like that.
