Anyone been on a New Deal 25+ (IAP) through the Jobcentre (UK) how long does it last?

I just finished my 13 week new deal (IAP) but i might have to go back another 13 weeks, can they really do this? i seen other ppl just sign back on again after they finished their course so why i need to go back? i dont have a problem with literacy/numbercy skills or English but other ppl do and they shud be going back, whats the deal in this? i thought once u do a 13 weeks new deal (IAP) thats it, you dont go back for another 13 weeks do you? ive been trying for a job and did actually find work but it was temporary & i see new deal courses a waste of time.

i got put on new deal when i was 19 i hated it cos 1 of the courses they sent me on was to this place an the 1st thing we all did was build a stupid tower outta straws, it felt like i was back in primary school
