Anyone been on a singles cruise?

I'm trying to write a novel about people on a singles cruise, and I was looking for some info, like what kinds of things they have planned for you when you get on the ship. Is there an itinerary or can you basically do what you want? Any details would be helpful, thanks!!!!

I didn't think there were "singles cruises". I just thought that every cruise has events for singles.

That was always my impression.
