  1. My mom, sister and I just got back from a cruise to Alaska and we all loved it.  The cruise line we took was with Celebrity cruises and the ship we took was the Infinity. The prices will range depending on which stateroom you want.  We chose the balcony one because we didn't want to fight for a space on the deck when we cruise through the scenic areas.  I definitely recommend getting a balcony room, it's a tad bit pricier but completely worth it.  Ours was a 7 night one leaving from seattle then to sitka, alaska then to Juneau, alaska, then to ketchikan, alaska then to Victoria, British Columbia.  This is a cruise worth taking! We saw so many different things and got to experience a lot more.  My favorite was our excursion in Juneau.  We had a helicopter ride to go to a dog camp where we had a chance to go on a dog sled ride.  This excursion priced at about $500 per person; a bit expensive but absolutely worth it!

  2. Acouple of factors that effect the price;

    1. time of year - May & Sept. lower rates

    2. cabin - inside, window or porthole or balcony - depends how time you plan on spending in your cabin.Plus. with a balcony you can only see 1 side of things, a window or porthole could be blocked by lifeboat.

    3. airfare

    I have sailed with Holland, Norwegian & Princess.

    A 7 day cruise for 2 adults with airfare from NY to Seattle you looking at $3000.00.

    A cruisetour (which is the best way to really see Alaska) on Princess #1 in cruisetours & cruises is $5365.36

    Excursion depends on what you do.

    These prices include everything but, what you will spend in the casino & ports of call.

    I have good there over 20 times.

    Hope this helps.

  3. My parents just got back form and Alaskan cruise and they LOVED IT! They went on Holland America and had nothing but amazing things to say. They saw Denali and lots of glaciers. they got to go dog sledding and whale watching and they went on a zip line.

    The cruise package that they chose was i think maybe 10 days... they took a train through Denali for a few days then spent the rest on board the ship. They loved it and I've heard wonderful things about it from many people that have gone (my grandparents, my best friend, etc)
