  1. The state of Arizona has a set minimum wage of $6.90 per hour, so if you can live on that then you will be fine.

  2. Beautiful place to visit any season.  a bit pricy being a college town, and the wages suck too because of that.

  3. This week NPR ran a story on the local economy in Flagstaff that I'd highly recommend you read.  Bestplaces.net is also a great place to compare your current city to Flagstaff on a number of factors, such as housing costs and wages to see how they compare.

In short, Flagstaff is a great place to live, but you are going to "pay for the scenery" with fairly high housing costs.  Unfortunately their economy isn't very diverse, driven primarily by Northern Arizona University and tourism.  Due to the limited economy and the popularity of Flagstaff, wages don't necessarily rise to meet the high cost of living.

  4. Very cool place. Lived and visited there. If you like the outdoors at all you'll love it here. Minimum wage is the same as everywhere else in the country, especially since it's a little college town. Great place though, even if the wages won't be the best!
