Anyone been to Apollo Bay? Whats it like??

I spent many childhood Summers in Apollo Bay.  Like the others said it is a lovely little seaside village.  It is about 3 hours drive from Melbourne on the Great Ocean Road.  There is also great bushwalking and many waterfalls to climb in the Otways behind Apollo Bay.

Apollo Bay is a small town 1/2 way down the Great Ocean Road  It has lovely beaches and has turned into a summer resort town over the year's There are plenty of short term rentals and over night accommodation.

There are nice little resort type shops catering to the tourist trade. Which due to it being the Great ocean road get customers all year long.

It's a lovely little seaside town.  Very quiet, great cafes & pubs

The best part of Apollo Bay is getting there.  You get to drive the Great Ocean Road.
