  1. Check out the resolved questions in this section as this question has been posted too many times to count.

In a nutshell : architecture, food & beers, lace & chocolate specialities.

    Brussels

Downtown Brussels = everything around the main medieval square called "La Grand-Place". Check out the tourist information center on said square, it is situated on the ground floor of the townhall.

    Bruges/Brugge

The center of town which is also the medieval part of town. Everything is worthwhile : architecture, churches, Belfray, sightseeing, canals,etc....Check out their info center

    www.brugge/belgium

In the resolved questions (there are that many in the Belgium section )you'll get more details.

You can also check out both websites mentioned above as these will tell you all about both cities including the special celebrations or other happenings that may take place while you'll be there.

    Hope this helps..

  2. Go to the local turist offices. They will give you more information than you need. The best advice I can give. Sit down in a café and watch the people. Take a tour guide in your local bookstore and look for what is really interesting you. For me personally the main train station would be really interesting, which doesn´t give you anything.
